I went in ABU DHABI stopver in the year of 2018 via ETIHAD AIRLINES, MANILA - ABU DHABI flight. Only you have to confirm is your PASSPORT that are valid more that 6 months before expiry and connecting flight to the next destination. I decided to book at ABU DHABI BUS TOUR to roam around the city.
